What is malignant mesothelioma?
Tumors of the mesothelium can be noncancerous (benign) or cancerous
(malignant). The latter is termed malignant mesothelioma as it is
the malignant or cancerous form of mesothelioma.
A malignant tumor of the mesothelium is called a malignant mesothelioma.
Because most mesothelial tumors are cancerous, malignant mesothelioma
is often simply called mesothelioma.
There is often a confusion between malignant mesothelioma with
benign tumours that also start in the mesothelium.

Malignant mesothelioma is very serious and requires
immediate medical attention. If you think you have been
exposed to asbestos or a loved one has been working in an
asbestos infected area, please see a mesothelioma doctor
who can diagnosis malignant mesothelioma. |
