US Asbestos Class Action Lawsuit

US District Judge in 1993 approved a global settlement for
about 186,000 future asbestos lawsuit claims. This was upheld
by the Fifth Circuit of the United States. However, the Supreme
Court in 1997 asked a massive product-liability litigation

The decision resulted in providing judges with more authority to
allow US asbestos class action lawsuits and settlements. In any

more asbestos exposure cancer cases are diagnosed.
